Eve Del Monte, LCPC
Owner and Founder of Towson Mental Health, LLC
Eve Del Monte, LCPC
My name is Eve Del Monte and I am a licensed professional counselor and the owner of Towson Mental Health, LLC. I have worked exclusively with teenagers, young adults and their families though out my career. I earned Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Studies and Sociology from Vanderbilt University. I then moved to Washington, DC to study at George Washington University and earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While completing my masters internship at MSA Child and Adolescent, a partial hospitalization program in Columbia, Maryland, I realized my passion for working with teenagers struggling with anxiety and depression.
Since then, I have worked with teenagers, young adults and their families in a variety of treatment settings including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient providing individual, group, and family therapy. While I have treated and provided therapy to teenagers and young adults with a wide range of mental health disorders, I specialize in treating anxiety and depression. I employ a variety of therapeutic strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe that each person is unique and I work with the individual to find which strategies will work best for that person.

What is it like to work with our team?
Therapy is an investment in time, emotion and money. We believe that you should be able to see results from our therapy sessions and will work with you to assess whether you are getting the most out of this investment. Research shows that the greatest indicator of progress in therapy is the connection that is created between the therapist and the client. Knowing this, we work very hard to establish a strong connection and rapport so that we are able to do our best work together.
We are straightforward and will tell you what we are thinking, giving you supportive and encouraging feedback while being real with you. We believe that therapy does not always have to be very serious and feel that humor is an important part of the process.
