Grace Hunt, LGPC, works with tweens and teens ages 11 and up as they navigate anxiety and social anxiety, depression, family conflict, divorce and custody transitions, peer relationships, emotional regulation, and the challenges of middle and high school.

Grace earned her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore, with a Practitioner specialization, and her B.S. in Child and Family Studies from Ohio University. She has experience providing individual therapy to clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, relationships, self-esteem, and identity development. Her work has included collaborating with families and school personnel to help clients make progress across settings.

Grace’s approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, with techniques from CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy tailored to each client’s needs and goals. She believes therapy can be creative and active: sessions might include a game, an art activity, or another hands-on approach to exploring emotions and building skills. Her background in community art and youth mentoring informs her interest in finding engaging ways to connect with young people.
